Mission Statement: SAFD is a non-profit organization authorized under the IRS Code Section 501(C)(3).
SAFD promotes the study and enjoyment of floral design through volunteerism, educational programs and community involvement. Monthly programs consist of a featured speaker, top floral designer, or hands-on classes in fresh/silk arrangements. Raffles are held for the arrangements and the proceeds are used for the charities supported by SAFD.
About SAFD: SAFD was founded over ten years ago for the women of the Northwest Houston area. SAFD promotes the study and enjoyment of flower design through volunteerism, educational programs and community involvement. Members include: Texas Master Florists, floral shop staff, novice designers and floral enthusiasts.

Once a year, the Society for the Advancement of Floral Design hosts a gala evening that is complete with dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Members also get to show off their skills by decorating their table’s centerpiece for the event.
