The bus trip is planned for March 22nd, leaving the Barbara Bush Library parking lot at 9:30 a.m. If we are lucky, we will see some lovely Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush on our way to Martha’s Bloomers in Navasota. We will have plenty of time to browse the gift shop and wonderful plant nursery before being seated for lunch in Cafe’ M. Bloomers. This team room is a delight and the food is fresh and tasty.

The cost of the trip is $18.40 which includes lunch, tax, gratuity, and bus fare. You must be a SAFD member to ride the bus. We almost have a full bus but will add you to the wait list if you don’t get a seat right away. Signups will be made during the March meeting or by calling Olga Lea at 281-440-0682.

Our March 20th Community Affairs workshop will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Ainsley Courte Assisted Living Home, 15055 North Eldridge Parkway.  The workshops last anywhere up to noon.

The workshop will be led by Lois Maier with assistance from Lynn Snyder.     Paid members are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate in creating these upbeat designs.  See our newsletters for more information about and photos from prior workshops.
